DuraStor 1000

DuraStor is a containerised, turnkey flywheel storage system for fast power storage needs, built on Stornetic's maintenance-free EnWheel flywheel. The DuraStor 1000 houses 16 EnWheel 60 units in a single container and connects to an existing low voltage grid without a complex control interface, with EMS or SCADA integration available when required. It is built for continuous high-power cycling, runs fully self-reliant in case of external power failure, and uses no hazardous materials or chemical additives. Typical applications include frequency regulation and voltage stabilisation, load firming, hybrid operation with CHP or battery systems, and microgrid stabilisation with seamless transition between grid forming and grid following.
