PuregasBC purifies and liquefies the carbon dioxide captured at biogas upgrading plants, so the CO2 is no longer released to atmosphere. The output is liquid bio-CO2 for food, industrial, storage and e-fuel uses. That improves a plant's carbon intensity (CI) score and gives the owner an extra revenue stream. The system is a containerised plant designed for unmanned operation, and no additional buildings are needed. It is fully compatible with PuregasCA biogas upgraders, where any methane slip can be routed back to the upgrader, and it can also be retrofitted to other biogas upgrading processes.
