Fueled with hydrogen, one unit generates up to 1.5 MW of emission-free electricity at 49% electrical efficiency (BOL) and 450-500 VAC, and modular units can be combined to reach multi-megawatt power ranges. The system is delivered as a 40-foot hi-cube ISO container plus a 20-foot ISO container, is CE certified and compliant with IEC 62282-3-100 and IEC 62282-3-300, and is rated for a 25-year system lifetime with quick start-up and immediate response to fluctuations in power demand. HDF Energy positions it for zero-emission baseload or on-demand grid power, for rail freight and shunting locomotives replacing diesel engines, and for maritime dockside, auxiliary and propulsion power; two units are installed at the CEOG hydrogen power plant in French Guiana. The units are produced at HDF Energy's multi-MW fuel cell plant in Blanquefort, near Bordeaux, France.
