Peak Energy

Peak Energy is a U.S.-based company developing low-cost, giga-scale energy storage technology for the grid, built on passively cooled sodium-ion (NFPP) battery systems. Its Grid Storage 1 product is marketed as a fully passive grid-scale storage system with no moving parts, available in 4, 6 and 8-hour models for utilities, IPPs and AI data centers. Founded in 2023 by industry veterans from Tesla, Enovix and Northvolt, the company runs ESS engineering in Burlingame, California and cell R&D in Broomfield, Colorado, and is scaling domestic manufacturing.
