Olvondo Technology

Olvondo Technology is a Norwegian company, established in 2016, that develops the HighLift very high temperature heat pump (VHTHP), based on a reverse Stirling cycle using helium as its working medium. The HighLift is rated at 750 kW heat output and delivers steam at sink temperatures up to 200°C by combining waste heat and electricity, also producing cooling as a by-product. The company is jointly owned 50/50 by LOS Gruppen and Westcon, and its heat pumps are manufactured at Westcon's facilities in Bømlo, western Norway. Its target customers are industrial players in food, aquaculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other sectors with high steam demand.
