Exergy designs, engineers, manufactures and maintains Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems that generate electricity from renewable sources (geothermal, biomass, solar) and from waste heat recovered from industrial processes, gas turbines, engines and power stations. Founded in 2009 by Claudio Spadacini, the company introduced the Radial Outflow Turbine to the ORC market and has built a fleet of nearly 600 MW of ORC systems in operation and under construction, with single turbines of up to 20 MW. Its product range also includes ORC-lite, PureCycle, gas expanders and industrial heat pumps.
