LP250

The LP250 is a vertical, non-lubricated piston compressor from Burckhardt Compression for high-pressure hydrogen trailer filling and refueling, where larger hydrogen flows call for piston rather than diaphragm compression. Oil-free compression maintains hydrogen quality according to SAE J-2719, with discharge pressures available up to 550 bar. For trailer filling and refueling applications from 30 to 550 bar, the range covers 1 to 21 tpd, the upper end being the maximum capacity of a 6-crank LP250V compressor unit. The compressors are delivered as standardized modules equipped with all accessories, with a stated mean time between overhauls of 8000-12000 hours.
