C500-I

The C500-I is a pyrolysis boiler from BIOMACON's Industry Edition, intended for higher heat loads of 400 kW to 500 kW, with heat used for pre-drying, as process heat up to 95 °C or fed into a local heating network. Rather than burning biomass outright, the technology essentially uses only the hydrogen contained in the biomass for energy and systematically decouples chemically stable carbon as biochar. It is designed for ligno-cellulosic raw materials with a maximum water content of 30%, and its low space requirement makes integration into existing buildings easy, while the compact design ensures heat utilisation with low radiation losses. Heat output is modulated automatically to the required heat demand over a wide load range. The system features an internal water jacket around the converter (HEAT SHIELD), a single-moving-part mono screw, a high-temperature reformer, low-NOx burners, and is manufactured according to EN 303-5.
