GA22 VSD

The GA22 VSD is a 22 kW oil-injected screw compressor with variable speed drive, part of the Atlas Copco GA 22-45 VSD range, which the maker says delivers energy savings of up to 50% and reliable performance in the harshest conditions. Its IP66-protected drive train pairs an oil-cooled iPM motor equalling IE5 standards with a gearless, beltless direct drive, so there are no transmission losses. The Neos Next inverter packs the functionality of an entire electrical cubicle into one IP54-protected unit, and together with the iPM motor exceeds IES2 (EN 50598) requirements for power drive efficiency. An Elektronikon Touch controller with standard SMARTLINK remote monitoring handles warnings, shutdown and maintenance scheduling, while a no-loss electronic drain and a high-efficiency air-oil separator limit air and oil losses. Everything sits in a compact vertical canopy with forklift slots and easy access panels, sized for installation in small rooms or at the point of use.
