Marine System 200 is a hydrogen fuel cell system for marine applications with a maximum net power of 200 kW. PowerCell designs it for compact integration together with high power output, with a stack and system built for high efficiency and a robust, durable design intended for lasting and reliable use over time. The standard scope of delivery covers the fuel cell stack, hydrogen, cooling and air subsystems, the fuel cell safety and control systems, a cooling module, an electronics module and an air filter, with the cooling side producing heat that can be utilised for external uses. Several systems can be combined in parallel on a common DC bus through DC/DC converters, so marine installations can scale towards megawatt output. Torghatten Nord's hydrogen ferries on the Lofoten-Bodo connection use a solution built on Marine System 200, providing 6.4 MW of power per ferry.
