PLEUGER deep well submersible pump units are offered with single-stage or multi-stage centrifugal pumps, with the motor sitting below the pump and the suction area above it. Water-filled motors are standard, with oil-filled motors available for specialized applications. Units come in 4" motor sizes as standard and are engineered to order from 6" upwards, with flanged bowl or tie-rod designs and radial, semi-axial or axial hydraulics customized to the duty point. Rewindable motors range from 4" to 50", as asynchronous induction or synchronous permanent magnet motors, with internal volume and pressure-compensating designs for operation at extreme installation depths. They can be installed vertically, inclined or horizontally and are used onshore and offshore, in applications from municipal water supply and mining dewatering to geothermal well service, desalination and water injection.
