G-Stor Hydrosphere 40 ft

The G-Stor® Hydrosphere is a Multiple Element Gas Container (MEGC) from Luxfer Gas Cylinders, designed to put maximum gas capacity first for hydrogen storage and transport. It is built on Type 4 cylinder technology, which uses a plastic liner wrapped in carbon fiber. The range covers 20 ft and 40 ft MEGC transport solutions for use in the UK, Europe and other regions, and Luxfer says more sizes are in development. The container is designed in conjunction with ISO 668, its cylinders are approved to EN 17339, and it carries ADR 6.8 approval. With periodic inspection, its service life is unlimited. Luxfer positions it as a virtual pipeline solution for distributing medium to large amounts of hydrogen.
