INOCEL

INOCEL designs and industrialises high-power hydrogen PEM fuel cells and the emission-free generators built around them, for stationary power, maritime and heavy mobility applications. Its technology comes from more than 25 years of research conducted at the CEA and is protected by patents covering both hardware and control software, centred on the Z300 stack that delivers over 300 kW with high power density and fast transient response. The company was founded in 2022 out of the GEN Z project, appointed Jules Billiet as CEO, and now markets the modular GEN-Z 300, GEN-Z 600 and GEN-Z 1300 generator models for purchase or rental, with installation, commissioning and lifecycle support. Its sites include headquarters and R&D at Saint-Égrève, a 15,000 m2 gigafactory at Belfort scaling to 90 MW of capacity by 2027, and an advanced technology complex at Mougins.
