Raw gas is cooled and filtered over activated carbon to remove H2S and VOCs, compressed, then separated in a three-stage membrane arrangement, reaching a methane recovery of at least 99.5% with a methane slip of 0.5% or less, and 0.1% or less when a CO2 liquefaction system is added. Electrical consumption is stated at 0.26 kWh/Nm3 of raw biogas, and a patented control system brings biomethane to the grid within minutes of start-up while continuously monitoring gas quality. The units are prefabricated, standardized and designed to fit both new and existing biogas plants, with end products covering grid-injected biomethane, bio-CO2, bio-CNG and bio-LNG.
