The NITROBERG® 4000 is a PSA nitrogen generator from BERG GaseTech that separates nitrogen from compressed air. Product purity is determined by measuring the residual oxygen content, and the nitrogen content is calculated by subtracting that measured value from 100%. The compressed air fed to the system must permanently comply with class 1.4.1 to ISO 8573-1, a prerequisite for safe and reliable operation; otherwise malfunction, reduced gas purity, increased wear and shortened service life may result. The unit is operated from a SIMATIC HMI touch control panel with an oxygen analyzer, outlet pressure and flow regulation as standard, with optional sensors for inlet temperature, dew point, pressure and outlet flow. It is built with a powder-coated exterior, stainless or galvanized steel piping and AISI 316 stainless steel valves.
