Pellet mill 65-1500

The type 65-1500 is a flat die pellet mill that AMANDUS KAHL describes as the largest flat die pellet mill on the market for wood pellet production. It was first commissioned in 2018, is delivered with a 630 kW drive and has a 1500 mm die diameter. Depending on the product and specification, it reaches a throughput of up to 12 t/h. The product is fed by gravity and pressed through a horizontal die by pan grinder rollers, and it can pellet softwoods, hardwoods and torrefied wood. AMANDUS KAHL says the machine is built for large-scale industrial production, and points to its long operating reliability, robust materials and modern control measures.
